Al-Sanabi: We missed 5 goals against Al-Ittihad
Abdul Rahman Al-Sanabi, Al-Ahly Saudi goalkeeper, confirmed that success was what his team lacked to achieve victory over Al-Ittihad in yesterday's match.
Al-Ahly lost to Al-Ittihad with a score of 1-0 yesterday, Thursday, in a match within the framework of the ninth round of the Saudi League.
Al-Sanabi said on the Saudi “SSC” network after the match: “We gave what we had to and wasted all the opportunities. We were not destined to win today.”
Regarding what Al-Ahly lacked to win the match, he said :"Only success was what was lacking. We did everything we had to do, and we missed 5 goals."
He continued: "I thank the fans for what they gave us. I was guarding the goal located towards the Al-Ittihad fans, and yet I could hear the voice of our fans on the other side."
