Spain coach: What Real Madrid did is not good
Luis de la Fuente, coach of the Spanish national team, commented on Real Madrid not attending the Ballon d'Or ceremony this evening, as he believes it is not a good thing.
De la Fuente said, upon his arrival to the ceremony in the French capital, Paris: “It is not good for football that a club like Real Madrid does not attend a ceremony of this kind.”
Real Madrid announced this afternoon that the team's delegation would not travel to the French capital to attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony, after learning that the team's striker Vinicius would not win the award.
He added: “For me, Rodri is the best player in the world in his position.”
