Ancelotti: The Mbappe case is just speculation, and we are not thinking about concluding new deals

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti appeared in a press conference, to talk about tomorrow’s confrontation against Celta Vigo, in the tenth round of the Spanish League.

The coach said: “ The first match without Carvajal? We are sorry for Carvajal’s injury. He is a very important player in the next few months. We will miss him as a player, but not as a leader because he will be here and work with us. We will benefit from his strength and mentality.”

I see the player happy and satisfied, and he wants to contribute to the team. Mbappe is close to reaching 100%. He is very nice, and it is a pleasure to watch him train.”

And about Mbappe’s travel To Sweden: “His rest days were set and then everyone chose what they wanted to do. I went to London for two days and did not ask anyone for permission. Also, I do not have a travel agency to organize players’ trips.”

He continued: “Vinicius? He took advantage of the downtime as Mbappe and Mendy did. He trained intensively and had rest days. Who can play at right-back other than Vasquez? Eder Militao.”

He stressed: “Now I am more confident in the team than I was a month ago. There is an important moment in the season coming. We have very strong competitors in the Champions League.” And we arrived with good feelings in the league. I think we are close to reaching our best levels.”
