Ancelotti: We deserve to lose, and we have to accept this

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti appeared in a press conference, in order to analyze the 1-0 loss to Lille, in the second round of the Champions League.

He said Coach: “Lille was better and deserved to win, and it is rare for the opponent to be better than us. We were able to draw, even though it was not deserved. We have to learn, as we did when we lost in the derby last season.”

He added: “It was difficult for us to recover the ball, and we were also bad at handling the ball. We must have a clear mind, and we were not creative in the midfield, and we were slow with the ball.”

He stressed: “We have strikers who need to play more vertically. If you have difficulty handling the ball and arrive slowly, this is a problem.”
