Former Tunisian national team coach Munther Al-Kabir appeared to talk about the future of his compatriot Ali Maaloul, the Al-Ahly club star, after he recently missed his team’s matches due to injury.
Monzer Al-Kabir said in Television statements: “Ali Maaloul is a great player with Al-Ahly and the Tunisian national team, and when I was coach of the Carthage Eagles, I relied on him because he has great abilities and potential and always deserves to be there.”
He continued: “Maaloul participated in 99% of the matches during my leadership of the Tunisian national team, and it is normal for him to be a starter unless he was injured or not technically ready.”
He also added: “Maaloul made many goals and scored goals and was always present in big matches, and there are players who cannot be present in those forums like him.”
Al-Kabir indicated that many clubs will seek to sign Maaloul if he leaves Al-Ahly, as he is an experienced player and has great potential.
