The Portuguese Joao Felipe Jota, who recently moved to French club Rennes, revealed the fact that he feels remorse over his decision to join the Saudi Al-Ittihad.

Jota said in press statements today: “ I do not regret at all my decision to move to Al-Ittihad, I am proud of my steps.”

He continued, saying: “I spoke with N’Golo Kante, and he advised me to go to Rennes in France, where he spoke positively about me. The club.”

Jota added, speaking about his previous stop with the Union: “As is the case in any job; Sometimes things don't go as they were supposed to, but it's life, you have to keep going and keep working.”

He continued: “I think last year was no different. Without a doubt, it was one of the years in which I learned more than others. I do not regret this decision.”

He concluded: “This is life, a lot happens. I spent times... Very good, and I've had bad times, but that's the way life is, so you have to live in peace with it.”
