Porto announces its anger over the failure of Galeno's transfer to Al-Ittihad

The Portuguese club Porto announced, at dawn today, the failure of the transfer of its Brazilian player Galeño to the Saudi Al-Ittihad, during the last hours of the summer transfer market.


Where the Porto club expressed, in An official statement of his extreme anger at what the negotiations regarding the Brazilian had reached during the summer transfer period, explaining that he would send two official letters bearing his position to Louay Mashabi, President of the Federation and President of the Saudi Professional League.


The Portuguese club continued that the deal between it and Al-Ittihad had already ended after the full agreement that included the two clubs and Galeno before the transfer was aborted.


He ended the statement by expressing his happiness about the Brazilian staying, because the club trusts in his abilities and motivation to continue performing with the team.


Al-Ittihad Club backed out of the deal to sign Brazilian Galeino, in order to sign Dutchman Steven Bergwijn, coming from Ajax Amsterdam, for 25 million euros.
