The Arab Contractors Club officially announced today, Tuesday, the appointment of Mohamed Makki as technical director of the team, succeeding Imad Al-Nahhas.

The Arab Contractors Club said on its Facebook account: “The Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors Club, headed by Mohsen Salah, announces the contract with Captain Mohamed Mekki to lead the team technically next season.”

He added: "Club President Mohsen Salah held a meeting with the new technical director of the first team, in the presence of Mohamed Adel Fathi, the general supervisor of football and a member of the club's board of directors, in which all the details were agreed upon so that he could begin his work with the team in preparation for the next season."

The statement concluded: “Several sessions are scheduled to be held in the coming hours to develop a preparation plan for the new season.”

The Arab Contractors were relegated to the second division after occupying the penultimate place in the Premier League standings with 26 points.
