Wydad Casablanca plans to make an offer for Soufiane Benjdida
Reports indicate that Wydad Casablanca is considering making an official offer to sign Soufiane Benjdida from Al Ahly FC on loan during the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to "Africa Foot", Wydad is making a strong push to secure the signing of the 25-year-old Moroccan striker, who is highly regarded in Moroccan football circles due to his attacking potential and previous experiences in Moroccan stadiums.
The ambitions of the club face a strong obstacle in the upcoming transfer market; Moroccan and Egyptian football powers have entered negotiations to win the player's deal, which signals an imminent fierce battle between these clubs to secure the signing.
The report indicated that Moroccan coach Al-Hussein Amouta of Al Ahly FC does not wish for the player to leave in the upcoming period, as he believes that Soufiane Benjdida is still capable of contributing to the red team.
Soufiane Benjdida has joined Al Ahly FC during the summer transfer window of 2026, coming from MAS Fes.
The player has appeared in 8 matches in the Egyptian League, with a total of around 395 minutes played, without scoring any goals, but he managed to provide 2 assists for his teammates.
