Ali Maher announces his coaching staff for the Egypt national team

Ali Maher, the new head coach of the Egypt national football team, has announced the formation of his coaching staff that will work with him during the upcoming period; as part of the preparations for the upcoming international commitments, primarily the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification for 2027.

Ali Maher has presented his vision to the Football Association board as he prepares to start his mission with the national team, succeeding Hossam Hassan.

The coaching staff for the Egypt national team, led by Ali Maher, has been announced as follows:

Mohamed Abdel Karim has been appointed as the head coach, with Bassem Ali as the assistant coach, and Mostafa Fathi as the goalkeeping coach. Mahmoud Selim and Abdel Rahman Al-Zoghbi will serve as performance analysts, alongside Diego Giacchino and Wael Raafat, who will be responsible for load planning.

Egypt will face Malawi on November 13 and 17 in the third and fourth rounds of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification.
