SC Freiburg beat Trabzonspor at home to secure their second win

SC Freiburg secured a valuable victory in Turkey, defeating Trabzonspor 1-0 in their match at the Papara Park in Trabzon, as part of the third round of the league stage in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The German team owe this victory to their defender Lukas Kübler, who scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute, giving his team an early advantage that they managed to maintain until the final whistle, despite the home side's attempts to come back.

Trabzonspor dominated possession with 63% compared to SC Freiburg's 37%. The Turkish team recorded 15 shots compared to 12 for the German side, but lacked effectiveness in front of goal, managing only two shots on target, while SC Freiburg had five.

With this victory, SC Freiburg raised their tally to two wins in the tournament, against one loss, while Trabzonspor received their first defeat in the competition after starting their campaign with two consecutive wins.
