Real Madrid visit AEK Athens in the fourth round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, looking to secure their fourth consecutive win, while the Greek side aims to regain their balance after two consecutive defeats.

The official website of UEFA states that AEK Athens and Real Madrid have met four times before, with each team winning one match and two matches ending in a draw. AEK Athens has not lost at home against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have a good record against Greek clubs, having achieved seven victories in 15 matches. Their last encounter was last season, when they beat Olympiacos by four goals to three, with all four goals scored by Mbappé.

Real Madrid have won their first three matches of the season in the competition against Inter, RB Leipzig, and Roma. Additionally, in their last six matches in the UEFA Champions League, they have scored 28 goals, while none of their last 33 encounters in the tournament have ended in a draw.

In contrast, AEK Athens has only achieved three victories in 33 UEFA Champions League matches, but they have lost just once in their last 12 European matches at home.

The match presents an opportunity for Jude Bellingham to play his 60th match in the UEFA Champions League, making him the youngest player to reach this number at 23 years and 128 days, surpassing the current record held by Iker Casillas. Meanwhile, Mbappé aims to continue scoring after finding the net in his last five matches in the competition.
