FC Barcelona monitoring young Portuguese defender

Jordan Arnonline, an 18-year-old defender for Estoril, has caught the attention of FC Barcelona, after one of the club's representatives monitored his performance during the match against FC Porto last Saturday.

According to the Portuguese newspaper "Record", FC Barcelona are monitoring the player due to his ability to play as a centre-back, full-back, and defensive midfielder, as well as his appearances with the Portugal U18 and U19 national teams.

Arnolin made his first start in the Primeira Liga on October 31, during the defeat against FC Porto by four goals to nil. He played the first 62 minutes, completing 13 successful passes out of 15, and regained possession three times.

The newspaper reported that FC Barcelona are following the development of the player, who is contracted to Estoril until June 30, 2029, but they are not the only club interested, as Brighton and Lille are also watching him.
