One goal separates Hamedallah from equaling Al-Somah's record in Saudi Pro League

Abderrazak Hamdallah, the Moroccan forward for Al-Taawoun, has taken a step closer to becoming the all-time top scorer in the Saudi Pro League after finding the net against Al-Ettifaq during their match in the 12th round.

Statistics published on the official account of the Saudi Pro League on the platform 'X' indicate that Moroccan striker Omar Al-Somah has raised his tally to 160 goals in his career in the competition.

Abderrazak Hamdallah is just one goal away from equalling the record held by Syrian Omar Al-Somah, who tops the all-time scoring list in the Saudi Pro League with 161 goals.

Abderrazak Hamdallah's goals during his journey in the Saudi Pro League were distributed across four clubs, as he scored 77 goals while wearing the Al Nassr jersey and 52 goals with Al Ittihad.

The Moroccan striker has scored 27 goals during his time with Al-Shabab, before adding four goals to his tally with Al-Taawoun so far.

Hamdallah is eyeing his next goal, which will give him the chance to match Al-Somah's achievement in a historic race as the Moroccan striker approaches a new record in the competition.
