Rodgers after Al Qadisiyah's win over Al Taawoun: Proud of the players' mentality

Rodgers stated in the press conference that Al-Taawoun is a strong competitor, explaining that watching their matches revealed their reliance on defensive organization with all players involved, which has made breaking through their defense a difficult task.

Al Qadisiyah's coach stated that he is pleased with the result and performance, despite the impressive saves from Al Taawoun's goalkeeper. He pointed out that Castillies also delivered remarkable performances, but what made him happiest was the determination of his players throughout the match.

Rodgers explained that the match became more difficult due to the pressure of fixtures, especially since Al Qadsiah played a match just two days ago, confirming that achieving victory under these circumstances represents a positive result for the team.

The coach addressed the absence of fans, stating that it did not affect his players, but he wished for the supporters to be present to support them. He expressed his astonishment at learning the reasons behind their absence.

Rodgers has stated that he has only faced good treatment from everyone since arriving at the club, adding that he sees no justification for the absence of fans from his perspective, although he understands that there may be other reasons.

Al Qadsiah secured a dramatic victory with a goal in the 96th minute, moving to 25 points and taking the lead in the Saudi Pro League. Meanwhile, Al Taawoun remains at four points in 17th place.

Brendan Rodgers, the head coach of Al Qadsiah, praised his players' mentality following their victory over Al Taawoun by a goal to nil in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League, affirming his pride in what the team delivered despite the difficulty of the match.
