Morgan Rogers: We deserved the win, and the competition with Palmer pushes us to be better

Morgan Rogers, Chelsea's forward, expressed his happiness at the 2-0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League, confirming that the team deserved the win after a strong performance in the second half.

Brendan Rodgers said: "It's a great thing. We had a tough week after a disappointing result in the last match, and we knew we needed to show up strongly today. In the second half, we imposed our control on the game, and that was very good. We deserved the win."

Speaking about his goal, he explained: "I tried to put the defenders under pressure, and suddenly I found myself facing the goal, and I had to keep my composure, and fortunately, the ball found its way into the net."

Chelsea forward spoke about his experience with the team, saying: "I am very happy here, it is a new experience and I look forward to playing alongside these special players. It is about the unity of the whole team, and I try to be a leader and stick to what I do best. It is a good start, but I must keep working."

Speaking about his role on the pitch, he added: "I try to occupy the spaces that can engage the defenders, and we exchange positions and move as required to confuse the opponents and force them out of their positions."

Rogers concluded his remarks by discussing his relationship with Cole Palmer, saying: "It's a friendly competition, as we push each other to improve during training every day. And if we are performing well and the team is doing well, that's the most important thing."
