Carrasco repeats Ben Yato's achievement with a hat-trick against Al Ahly FC

Yannick Carrasco led Al Shabab to a resounding victory over Al Ahly FC with a score of 6-1, after scoring three goals during the match that took place on Friday evening in the 12th round of the Saudi Pro League.

Carrasco recalls his previous brilliance in the competition with this hat-trick, having scored his first hat-trick in the Saudi Pro League against Al Riyadh last February, in a match that Al Shabab won 3-1.

The achievement of the Belgian star is not limited to scoring three goals, as it recalls what Algerian Mohamed Benyattou achieved with Al Shabab against Al Ahly FC in September 2016.

Carrasco has matched Ben Yato's achievement by scoring a hat-trick against Al Ahly FC, with both players managing to score three goals against the team in two separate instances years apart.

In the Saudi Pro League standings, Carrasco's goals helped his team secure three valuable points, raising Al Shabab's tally to 14 points in 10th place.

In contrast, Al Ahly FC remains at 21 points, settling in sixth place after suffering a heavy defeat against Al Shabab by six goals to one.
