Leitch stated in the press conference that Al-Shabab performed exceptionally in the first 30 minutes, managing to score two goals before struggling in the last 15 minutes of the first half.

The Al-Shabab coach stated that his team regained control in the second half and scored the third goal, noting the difficulty of playing at Al-Fateh's ground, where Al-Shabab has not won in a year. He also praised the players and the role of the substitutes despite the pressure of the matches.

Ali Al-Bulayhi expressed his happiness at the victory, stating that securing the three points was not easy against a strong opponent, and that teamwork and focus after the previous setback contributed to clinching the match.

Ali Al-Bulayhi has increased his tally to 22 goals in the Saudi Pro League, becoming the highest-scoring defender in the competition's history. He also clarified that his celebration in front of the main stand was a tribute to the club president known as 'Abu Fahd' and Talal Al Sheikh, in appreciation of their roles in the team's successes.

He expressed optimism for the upcoming period, noting that the match against Al-Fateh was his first this season. He also made sure to console his friends in the opposing team.

In contrast, Al-Fateh's coach Jamal Salami expressed his dissatisfaction with the loss, stating that the mistakes made by his team changed the course of the match. He pointed out the shock of the fans and the coaching staff at the performance, and noted a clear flaw in the defensive system that requires addressing and finding solutions for certain positions.

Al-Salami criticized the red card shown to his player Ziyad Al-Juraidi, describing his behavior as unacceptable and calling for strict administrative decisions. He explained that the numerical disadvantage tilted the balance in favor of Al-Shabab, while the brilliance of goalkeeper Adrian helped prevent Al-Fateh from conceding additional goals. Al-Shabab increased their tally to 11 points, while Al-Fateh remained on 6 points.

Thomas Leitch, the youth coach, confirmed his team's right to victory over Al-Fateh with a score of 3-1 in the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League, after Ali Al-Bulayhi scored two goals and achieved a historic milestone in the competition.
