Thomas Leitch praises Al-Shabab's improvement after international break

Leitch stated during the press conference that his players are capable of securing three points, pointing out that previous losses against Al-Hilal, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Kholood will not prevent the team from competing against Al-Ahli.

The Al-Ahli coach described his team as one of the contenders for the Saudi Pro League title, affirming that his side will give their utmost to achieve victory and benefit from the support of their fans in the upcoming match.

Leitch has stated that preparations are going well, with seven points from the last three matches boosting the players' morale. He noted the improvement in performance following the international break and the training program during FIFA days.

The coach revealed that all players are participating in group training except for Hamam Al-Hamami, explaining that the squad includes 25 players, along with three goalkeepers.

Leitch highlighted that the variety of options and the readiness of players in different positions make it difficult to choose the starting lineup and the substitutes, considering that the competition among the players represents a positive challenge and provides the coaching staff with greater flexibility.

Thomas Leitch, the coach of Al-Shabab, has reaffirmed his team's chance of victory against Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League, despite acknowledging the strength of the opponent and their superiority on paper, relying on the factors of home advantage and the support of the fans.
