Hassania dAgadir officially protests against refereeing in match against Raja
Hassania dAgadir has escalated its stance on the refereeing decisions in the Moroccan professional league, after sending a letter to the National Professional Football League expressing its dissatisfaction with the decisions witnessed during its match against Raja CA on Wednesday evening, in the fifth round of the professional league "Inwi".
The match, held at the Stade Al Arabi, ended in a 1-1 draw, but its conclusion did not put an end to the controversy within Hassania dAgadir, which confirmed in its complaint, signed by its president Belaid Fakir, that this correspondence is the second of its kind since the start of the current season.
Hassania dAgadir has stated that the repetition of refereeing decisions that it sees as influential on its results raises fears about ensuring equal opportunities among clubs, considering that the matter goes beyond mere occasional errors and could negatively impact the course of competition and the credibility of the league.
The club has called on the Professional League to take necessary measures to limit the violations mentioned, ensuring fairness and integrity in competition among various teams, while also praising the efforts made to develop the football system in Morocco.
Hassania dAgadir emphasizes the importance of maintaining a respectable image for Moroccan football, especially with Morocco set to host a global event. The team confirmed its readiness to provide video clips documenting the refereeing situations included in its protest.
Hassania dAgadir's move brings the debate over refereeing decisions in the Moroccan professional league back to the forefront, amid demands from clubs to ensure fair application of the rules and maintain the principle of equal opportunities throughout the season.
