Mounaim El Idrissy close to leaving Raja Club in winter transfer window
Moroccan forward Mounaïm El Idrissy is facing the prospect of leaving Raja Club during the upcoming winter transfer window, having failed to convince Spanish coach Paco Jémez, given his limited appearances since joining the team last summer.
According to the website "Afrikafout", Jaimé has requested that sporting director Rogério Matias find a way to end the player's association with the club during the winter transfer window, due to his lack of conviction in the player's technical and physical abilities.
Mounaïm El Idrissy has struggled for opportunities to prove his abilities since joining Raja Club from Troyes in a free transfer last August, having participated in only two official matches, one in the CAF Confederation Cup and the other in the Botola Pro, totaling 31 minutes.
Raja Club has signed Moroccan striker Mounaïm El Idrissy on a contract until the summer of 2028, aiming to enhance their attacking options and benefit from his experience in European football. However, his start with the team has not met the expectations of the coaching staff, according to the same source.
Mounaïm El Idrissy trained at several French clubs, including Olympique Marseille, Bel Air, and Ajaccio, before moving to Belgian club Kortrijk, and then to French side Troyes, which he left in the summer of 2026 to embark on a new experience in the Botola Pro.
The future of Moroccan striker Mounaïm El Idrissy with Raja Club depends on the decisions of the sports management in the coming period, as the club's stance on the possibility of parting ways with him in January becomes clearer, and they look to rearrange their attacking options in line with the vision of the Spanish coach.
