Salami: Facing Al Shabab is an opportunity to reconcile with Al Fateh fans

Al-Salami, during the pre-match press conference, explained that his team's performance against Al Khaleej included some positives, but he emphasized the necessity of doubling efforts and working on correcting mistakes, with a focus on improving defensive organization to avoid repeating problems that impacted results.

Al-Fateh's coach noted that the tight schedule between matches hindered the implementation of a comprehensive training program ahead of the clash with Al Shabab, explaining that the preparations focused primarily on restoring the players' physical fitness and getting them ready for the anticipated match.

Al Salami spoke about his upcoming opponent, confirming that Al Shabab's recent results do not fully reflect the level they are showing on the pitch. He warned of the difficulty of the encounter given that the team possesses abilities that make them a strong competitor, despite their current position in the Saudi Pro League table.

Al-Fateh will enter the match in 16th place with six points, while Al-Shabab sits in 13th place with eight points.

Both teams are looking to secure three points to improve their positions in the Saudi Pro League standings, with significant importance for the match in the teams' upcoming journey.

Jamal Al-Salami, the head coach of Al-Fateh, emphasized the importance of the upcoming match against Al-Shabab on Thursday, as part of the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League. He considers it an opportunity to regain the fans' confidence and compensate for the recent loss against Al Khaleej.
