Koundé continues to miss FC Barcelona training
FC Barcelona resumed training on Wednesday after two days off following defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, in preparation for their match against Deportivo Alavés next Saturday at Spotify Camp Nou.
The training session saw the continued absence of French defender Jules Koundé from group training, as he continues to recover from an ankle sprain that kept him out of the last two matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, according to "Mundo Deportivo".
Jules Koundé's chances of participating against Alavés depend on the developments of his condition in the coming days, as Hans Flick aims to prepare his team for the upcoming clash.
Meanwhile, centre-back Pau Cubarsí has returned to training normally with the group after recovering from an illness accompanied by fever, which prevented him from travelling to London to attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony last Monday.
FC Barcelona are gearing up to face Alavés with the aim of overcoming their last two losses and regaining their form, before taking on two tough matches against Aston Villa and Atlético Madrid, followed by the second international break of the season.
