Arnold rules out January return to Liverpool and holds on to his chance with Real Madrid
Alexander Arnold is not planning to return to Liverpool during the upcoming winter transfer window, as he is holding on to his opportunity with Real Madrid, according to TEAMtalk citing Football Insider.
The English player is struggling to secure regular playing minutes, as manager José Mourinho relies on Fede Valverde at right-back, alongside Denzel Dumfries and the possibility of using Éder Militão in the same position.
According to "TEAMtalk", Spanish football expert Guillem Balagué has reported that Alexander Arnold is not planning to leave, clarifying that the player continues to work while waiting for his opportunity with Real Madrid, despite the strong competition for his position.
In contrast, journalist Pete O'Rourke has confirmed that Liverpool are currently not interested in re-signing the 28-year-old player, despite their need for solutions at right-back since his departure.
Alexander Arnold is contracted to Real Madrid until 2031, with reports suggesting a potential return to Liverpool in the future, though there are no imminent plans for this move.
