Truth about a crisis between Amouta and Ahmed Reda of Al Ahly FC
Ahmed Shobair has revealed the truth about a crisis between Moroccan coach Al-Hussein Amouta and player Ahmed Reda at Al Ahly FC recently.
Shobeir confirmed in statements via "On Sport FM" that the rumors of a fight between the parties are completely untrue, pointing out that the player did not engage in any verbal altercation with the Moroccan head coach.
It has been reported that there is a sense of discontent among Al Ahly FC player Ahmed Reda due to his continuous absence from the team's starting lineup, which has opened the door to speculation and doubts regarding the nature of his relationship with the coaching staff led by the manager.
Shobeir added that the head coach Al-Hussein Amouta is convinced of the player's abilities and level, emphasizing that the preparation of the match list and the selection of the starting players fall within the exclusive powers of the coach, based on his tactical considerations and the requirements of each match.
It was pointed out that if Ahmed Reda feels he is not getting enough opportunities to participate, he should consider requesting a loan move during the upcoming winter transfer window in January in order to gain more playing minutes.
