Al Ahly FC coaching staff unhappy with Emam Ashour

Ahmad Shobir reports that there is a sense of reservation and criticism within the coaching staff of Al Ahly FC regarding Emam Ashour's recent performances due to his failure to deliver the expected level. He confirmed that the player's chances of participating in upcoming matches remain contingent on his seriousness and commitment during the team's training sessions.

Shobeir stated during a radio interview that the coaching staff does not see the effort and running expected from Emam Ashour, adding: "We are not seeing the effort or the running, nor the Emam that people say is the best player in Egypt."

The player's return to secure a spot in the starting lineup is now entirely dependent on his discipline in training and his expected performance. It was emphasized that a continued decline in his level or laxity in training will keep him out of the coaching staff's plans for upcoming matches.

Shobeir concluded his statements by indicating that Al Ahly FC has begun to take a firmer stance towards its players, in light of the declining results. He clarified that the club believes it has provided all the necessary resources for the team and will not accept the current situation to continue without improvement in performance and results.
