Negotiation session between Al Ahly FC and Reda Slim to mutually terminate contract

Khaled El Ghandour has revealed that there are movements within Al Ahly FC's management to settle the future of Moroccan player Reda Slim. Club officials held a meeting with the player to discuss the option of mutually terminating the contract in the upcoming phase, coinciding with ongoing negotiations to determine his next destination.

Khaled El Ghandour stated via his Facebook account that Al Ahly FC officials held a meeting with Reda Slim two days ago to discuss the possibility of mutually terminating the contract, as the club's management offered the player to waive part of his financial dues in exchange for contract termination.

According to Khaled El Ghandour, Reda Slim is insisting on receiving all his financial dues from Al Ahly FC and is refusing to waive any part of it, which is delaying a final agreement between the two parties.

Al Ahly FC's management is considering an alternative option to facilitate the settlement process, which relies on scheduling the remaining financial dues for the player and spreading them over a full year. This approach comes in case the agreement on the percentage or value of the amounts that can be waived falters, as the management seeks to reach a consensual formula that ensures the closure of this file amicably and in a manner that satisfies both parties.
