Venezia FC has announced a franchise agreement with the Municipality of Venice to build its new stadium in the Mestre area, marking a historic step for the club. The stadium is set to open in the second half of the 2027-2028 season, with a capacity of up to 18,500 spectators.

The club stated in an official statement that the agreement extends for 40 years and includes a total investment of €125 million from the club, covering stadium equipment, completion of construction works and improvements, as well as regular and exceptional maintenance costs and franchise fees.

Francesca Bodi, president of Venezia, confirmed that signing the agreement marks a historic day for the club and its community, noting that the "Bosco dello Sport" stadium will be a modern and sustainable facility that meets the highest international standards, providing a comprehensive environment that combines sports, culture, and entertainment throughout the year.

Simon Venturini, the mayor of Venice, described the agreement as a historic turning point for the city, emphasizing that the project represents the result of years of work and collaboration. Its role will not be limited to hosting football matches but will also extend to include concerts, festivals, and major events, enhancing the economic, tourism, and entertainment opportunities for the entire region.
