Mansy returns to Zamalek training ahead of El Mokawloon SC clash

Zamalek have received a morale boost ahead of their clash with El Mokawloon SC, scheduled for next Wednesday, in the 8th round of the Egyptian League, as their striker Nasser Mansy has returned to the team's training.

The club clarified in an official statement that Nasser Mansy participated in training on Monday, which took place at the auxiliary pitch of the Air Defense Stadium, in preparation for the anticipated match at Cairo International Stadium. This was decided by head coach Moataz Gamal, in coordination with director of football Abdel Nasser Mohamed.

The striker's return to training comes after he served a penalty imposed on him during the past period, which included a financial fine and a suspension from participating in training and matches, following his behavior during the first leg against the Rwandan Army in the Round of 32 of the CAF Champions League.

The player sparked controversy after removing his shirt and spitting towards the bench, prompting the club's management to take disciplinary action against him.

Nasser Mansy has participated normally in physical and tactical training alongside his teammates as part of the preparations for the match against El Mokawloon SC, making him available to the coaching staff according to their decisions regarding the match squad.

Zamalek SC enters the match sitting third in the Egyptian League table with 16 points, one point behind Al Ahly FC in second place and five points behind Pyramids FC at the top.
