Dimarco demands huge salary to renew contract with Inter
Federico Dimarco, the star of Inter, is aiming for a substantial increase in his salary as part of negotiations to renew his contract with the Italian club, amid the player's desire to improve his financial terms.
According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Dimarco is asking for €7.5 million per year to renew his contract, a salary that his agent wants to place directly behind that of Argentine Lautaro Martínez, the team captain.
On the other hand, Oaktree Capital, owner of Inter, is sticking to its position regarding the salary cap. They do not mind increasing the current salary of the player, but they do not wish to exceed the financial limits set for the club.
Negotiations are expected to see further discussions in the coming period as both parties aim to reach a satisfactory agreement, especially since Dimarco is considered one of the important elements in Inter's lineup.
