Ibrahim Fayek: Al Ahly FC will not change Al-Hussein Amouta

Ibrahim Fayek confirmed that Al Ahly FC's decision to exclude Emam Ashour and Mohamed Hany from the match against Kitarah sends a strong message prioritizing the club's interests above all. This move comes as a strict reaction to the recent decline in the team's results and performance level.

Ibrahim Fayek stated during a television interview that the exclusion of the duo from the squad serves as a "wake-up call" for the players, clarifying that Al Ahly FC is sending a decisive message to everyone that participation is not guaranteed for any player, regardless of their name or status within the team.

Faiq emphasized that the message is clear within the team, stating that Al Ahly FC will not allow any player to overstep their role or act as if they are bigger than the club, saying: "No one will be bigger than Al Ahly FC, no matter who they are."

Al Ahly FC's management has explained that they will not hold the head coach fully responsible for the team's inconsistent results, dismissing the idea of constantly changing coaching staff. They believe that the fundamental issue lies in the players' performance and their contributions on the pitch.

He explained: "Al Ahly FC will not throw the cat in the coach's lap again, as long as the problem lies with the players. Al Ahly FC will not change the coach, Al Ahly FC will not change Amouta, Al Ahly FC will not change coaches every morning."

Faiq concluded his statements by asserting that Al Ahly FC believes it has changed various elements in the team's system, while results still need to improve. He pointed out that the responsibility lies with the players to regain their form and meet the fans' expectations.
