After 13 years, Mourinho returns to Camp Nou to lead Real Madrid in El Clásico

José Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, returns to Camp Nou on Sunday, October 25, to face FC Barcelona in a LaLiga clásico, marking his first appearance there in 13 years.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Jose Mourinho's last appearance at FC Barcelona's stadium was in January 2013, when he led Real Madrid against the Catalan team in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.

That was not the last encounter for the Portuguese coach against FC Barcelona, as the two teams met again in February of the same year, in a match in LaLiga held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Since leaving Real Madrid in 2013, Mourinho has not faced Barcelona during his coaching stints with Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Roma, Fenerbahçe, and Benfica, whether at Camp Nou or any other stadium.

The newspaper reported that Jose Mourinho has faced FC Barcelona 27 times across all competitions, achieving 8 wins, 9 draws, and 10 losses before their upcoming clash in the next clásico.

In Spanish competitions, which include LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa, José Mourinho has faced FC Barcelona 17 times, achieving 5 victories, 6 draws, and 6 defeats, including a loss of 5-0 at Camp Nou during the 2010/2011 season.
