De Laurentiis: I rejected a €3.5 billion offer from Arabs to sell SSC Napoli

Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of SSC Napoli, has confirmed that the club is not for sale, revealing that he rejected a €3.5 billion offer from Arab investors to acquire it.

Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated that SSC Napoli is not for sale. He rejected an offer of €3.5 billion from Arab investors because he did not want to retire.

He added: "If I have to sell, I would prefer to sell it to someone from SSC Napoli, not to an American. And if one of the sons of SSC Napoli wants to take over after two or three or even five years, I would have no problem with that."

The president of the Italian club has emphasized his commitment to continue leading SSC Napoli, stating that he is not considering relinquishing ownership of the club at this time.
