Napoli consider Lucca's departure in January and target Monza talent

SSC Napoli are considering the possibility of Lorenzo Lucca leaving the team during the upcoming winter transfer window, as the club evaluates its options in the transfer market, according to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport".

According to the report, SSC Napoli have placed young striker Gustavo Varela, born in 2005 and currently at AC Monza, on their list of potential targets to bolster their forward line in the upcoming period.

The young player's market value is estimated at around €10 to €15 million, which could make the transfer a viable option for SSC Napoli's management if they decide to proceed with signing him.

Napoli's transfer plans are expected to become clearer in the coming weeks as the winter transfer window approaches, with Lucca's future remaining a key issue to watch at the Italian club.
