Rice: Neuer denied us more goals, and this is the secret to the draw against Bayern Munich

Declan Rice, Arsenal's midfielder, expressed his happiness at scoring the equalizer against Bayern Munich in the match that ended 2-2 in the UEFA Champions League, pointing out that the mentality instilled by manager Mikel Arteta within the team was an important factor in continuing to fight until the end.

Rice said: "I am very happy, when you play against teams that rely on man-marking, you have to apply certain principles in your play, I kept running, and I managed to escape from the player who was marking me before scoring the goal, I am very happy."

Speaking about Viktor Gyökeres' impact when he comes on as a substitute, Rice said: "He makes a big impact when he comes off the bench, it's a really tough match, and we could have scored more goals, but Manuel Neuer made some great saves."

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice spoke about the team's mentality and what they can achieve, saying: "It's about the mentality, which is what the manager has instilled in us. We will face them at the same level; sometimes it can be tough, but you have to keep fighting."

Rice added: "At home, Bayern Munich are one of the best teams in Europe, if not the best, and now, we move on to the next match."
