The truth about the postponement of the Egyptian Super Cup

Ahmed Shobair has revealed the truth about the postponement of the Egyptian Super Cup, which was scheduled to take place next month.

Shobeir stated in remarks via "On Sport FM": "The Egyptian Super Cup is likely postponed, and this is my assessment until an official statement is issued."

He added: "I asked yesterday, and until 3 PM there was no official announcement regarding the holding of the tournament on schedule. If there had been any updates, we would have known. As of now, there is no official statement confirming the postponement or the holding of the tournament, and all that is being circulated is merely speculation until the official decision is issued."

Zamalek will participate in the Egyptian Super Cup as the league champion, while Pyramids FC enters as the holder of the Egypt Cup. Additionally, Al Masry has secured its place as the champion of the Cairo Cup, and Al Ahly FC is participating via the golden card.
