Manchester United considering formal offer for Araujo

Manchester United are showing strong interest in signing Maximiliano Araújo, the left-back of Sporting Lisbon, as the English club looks to strengthen its squad during the upcoming transfer window.

According to circulating reports, Manchester United are studying a bid of around €65 million to sign the Uruguayan international, who is welcoming the opportunity for a new experience in the Premier League.

In contrast, Sporting Lisbon have not received any official offers yet and are insisting on a fee of €80 million for the departure of Araujo, who is 26 years old.

Manchester United faces a financial gap between the value they are considering offering and the amount requested by the Portuguese club, which may require further moves in potential negotiations to reach an agreement on the deal.
