Kolarov reveals reasons for Inter's comeback against Bologna
Romanian Cristian Chivu, the head coach of Inter, missed the press conference following the 3-1 victory over Bologna in the match that took place in the seventh round of Serie A, after losing his voice due to his constant reactions and interactions on the touchline during the match. His assistant Aleksandar Kolarov appeared before the media instead.
Kolarov spoke about the match, confirming that Bologna had a strong first half and put significant pressure on Inter players. However, the team managed to improve their performance in the second half and raised the tempo of the game, allowing them to turn the result around and achieve an important away victory.
The assistant coach stated that Inter's strength lies in the group and the quality of the players, emphasizing that the team does not need to prove anything to others but should focus on itself and continue to develop. He also pointed out that the team is well aware of its capabilities and still has the opportunity to make up for the points lost in previous matches.
Kolarov addressed the defensive mistakes witnessed in the match, emphasizing that they are part of football, and that the most important thing is to work on reducing them and continuously improving performance. He expressed satisfaction with the final result, confirming that the team delivered a strong performance in the second half, while stressing the need to maintain focus and raise the level of aggression and tempo in upcoming matches.
