Chistian Kievo takes responsibility ahead of Bologna clash

Christian Kivu, Inter's head coach, has taken responsibility for the team's poor results, emphasizing the need to regain mental balance and unity among the players during the press conference ahead of the match against Bologna in Serie A.

Chievo have stated that the team must deal with the recent defeat against Club Brugge calmly, explaining: "We take responsibility and understand what went wrong, especially during the last 30 minutes. We played 60 good minutes and created many chances, but we lost our balance after conceding the second goal. We need to analyze what happened without falling into the trap of self-pity; instead, we must react and regain our energy."

Inter manager added: "I am the first to take responsibility, and I must evaluate how to prepare the team correctly. We have a great group, and we need to regain our unity and communicate better during matches, not allowing difficulties to affect us mentally. There are small details that need improvement, but they make a difference, especially regarding organization, pressing, movements, and communication on the pitch."

Regarding the defensive situation of the team, Chievo stressed the importance of all players moving with a shared mentality, confirming that the team needs to develop and mature, while also maintaining distances between players and unifying defensive roles.

The coach praised striker Bony, stating he has performed well since the start of the season, and that his chance to start will come, expressing satisfaction with what he is contributing to the team.

Regarding injuries, Chievo revealed that Lautaro Martínez will miss the match against Bologna due to a problem discovered after the last game, noting that current expectations suggest he will return after the international break.

He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the difficulty of facing Bologna, explaining that the opponent possesses organization, speed, and physical strength, and that Inter will need to win duels and exert significant effort to achieve a positive result.
