Hashim Rida announces Al-Shorta ready to face Al Karkh

Al-Shorta held a press conference ahead of their match against Al Karkh, attended by team manager Hashim Rida and player Ali Mohsin. The encounter is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at Al-Qafas Stadium as part of the tenth round of the AFC Champions League.

The conference was the team's first after the official separation from Tunisian coach Sami Al-Trabelsi, and it carried many important messages.

Team director Hashim Rida thanked coach Sami Al-Trabelsi and his technical staff for their time with the team, praising the efforts and commitment he showed during his leadership of Al Karkh.

At the same time, Rida welcomed the new coaching staff led by coach Hussein Abdul Wahid, who will temporarily lead the team, wishing him success in his new mission. He confirmed that the new staff will continue what the previous coaching staff started and will not begin from scratch.

Reza added: Tomorrow's match will not be easy at all against Al Karkh, a young team with a respectable coaching staff that plays good football despite their position in the standings. We need to focus greatly and secure the three points; there is no room for slipping up at home.

The team director confirmed Al Karkh's full readiness for the match, aiming to please the fans at the Al Qafas Stadium, especially with the return of several injured players who will provide a strong boost to the team. He pointed out that Al Karkh's goal is clear: to return to competing for the top positions.

Ali Mohsin confirmed that Al Karkh returned from their Asian participation with a deserved victory that delighted their fans after the thrilling win over East Bengal of India by 3-2 in the AFC Champions League 2.

Ali Mohsin stated that the team has completely closed the chapter on the AFC Champions League and is now focusing on league matches. He added, "We understand that the league is long and difficult and requires a lot of stamina."

Ali Mohsin has stated that tomorrow's match against Al Karkh will not be easy, and there are no easy matches in our league this season. All teams have developed and are capable of embarrassing the big clubs. We are looking to achieve positive results and reach the advanced positions that befit the name and reputation of Al-Shorta, which has always competed for the top spots and pleased its loyal fans.

Fans of Al-Shorta hope that the match against Al Karkh will be the true starting point for the team in the league, especially under the leadership of club son Ali Mohsin, who knows well the value of the green shirt.
