Shobir: Al Ahly FC considers signing a local striker in January

Ahmad Shobair has revealed that Al Ahly FC's management is considering signing a local striker during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Mohamed Hany stated on his program "Al-Nazir" broadcast on Al-Nahar channel: "Al Ahly FC is thinking about signing a standout striker in the Egyptian league, but I don't have complete certainty about the information."

The discussion touched on Mohamed Hany's performance for Al Ahly FC in the derby, and it was confirmed: "Some people are upset about Mohamed Hany's brilliance in the derby, and the rumors and attacks against him have started; I don't understand why!".

He added: "They said Mohamed Hany received extra money and was given preferential treatment, which is completely unfounded. The Al Ahly FC has never distinguished any player over another, and everyone receives their dues according to their contracts with the club."
