Amir Hossam has revealed the Egyptian Football Association's stance on Zamalek SC's statement regarding the summit match crisis, and the expected response to be sent to the white club.

Amir Hisham stated during his program "Modern Sports" broadcast on Modern MTI channel that the Football Association received an official response from the Referees Committee regarding what was mentioned in Zamalek SC's statement in recent hours, as part of addressing the observations raised by the club concerning the management of the match.

The referees' committee explained that the decision to use a Slovenian officiating crew for the match was driven by several major European federations apologizing for not sending their referees, due to the first-tier "elite" referees being occupied with crucial matches in continental club competitions in Europe at the same time.

He added that the letter expected to be sent to Zamalek SC will not include a discussion of the refereeing decisions that occurred during the match, as the assessment of these situations is subject to the referee's view and evaluation during the management of the game.

As for Zamalek SC's request to listen to the VAR recordings, the matter remains pending and has not been officially resolved yet, as this procedure requires direct approval from the Egyptian Football Association's board, since it is a decision that exceeds the powers of the referees' committee alone.
