Spain's disciplinary committee has accepted Real Madrid's appeal regarding the yellow card received by French defender Ibrahima Konaté during the match against Villarreal in La Liga, deciding to cancel the warning issued to the player, according to reports from the Spanish website "OKDIARIO" and the newspaper "AS".

Ibrahima Konaté received a yellow card in the 81st minute of the match that ended with Real Madrid beating Villarreal by a single goal, following a challenge on Gerard Moreno, the opposing team's player.

Real Madrid have filed an official appeal, arguing that the warning was unwarranted, based on replays that showed no contact between the French defender and the Villarreal forward in the incident in question.

The committee's decision gives Real Madrid an important boost ahead of their upcoming matches, as the cancelled warning is now outside the scope of disciplinary penalties. This spares Ibrahima Konaté the risk of suspension due to the accumulation of yellow cards related to this incident.

Real Madrid prepare to continue their journey in La Liga, focusing on maintaining the readiness of their defensive players ahead of the upcoming Clasico against FC Barcelona.
