Mido criticises Zamalek management after loss in Cairo derby
Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' has sharply criticized the management of football affairs at Zamalek SC, highlighting a gap and isolation between the board and the first team due to a lack of a clear strategy. In contrast, he praised the administrative system at Al Ahly FC, confirming that it operates according to a specific and organized vision.
Mido, speaking on his show "Odat El Leps" broadcast on "Al Nahar" channel, said that Al Ahly FC's board has a clear plan it is working according to, which helps the club manage its football affairs in a more organized manner.
The Zamalek SC board seems completely isolated from the football team, pointing to the absence of a clear plan to develop the football sector within the club, which is reflected in the team's situation.
Mido has pointed out that Zamalek SC's football team lacks the necessary administrative support and protective umbrella, as the sports scene is managed randomly and separately from leadership. He emphasized that correcting the team's course and bringing it back on the right path in the upcoming period primarily depends on addressing the crisis of the absence of administrative vision.
Zamalek suffered a defeat to Al Ahly FC with a score of 2-0 last Sunday at Cairo International Stadium in the sixth round of the Egyptian League.
