Abdallah El Said reveals details of his transfers between Al Ahly FC, Pyramids FC and Zamalek SC
Abdallah El Said, the star of Zamalek SC, revealed the details of his transfers between Ismaily SC, Al Ahly FC, and Pyramids FC, leading up to the White Castle, confirming that he had been aiming to join the Whites three years before his transfer.
Abdallah El Said stated in media remarks: "Al Ahly FC were worried when I went to Al Ahly FC from Ismaily SC, and they had problems in Ismailia at that time, and of course it was their right to be upset because Al Ahly FC and Ismaily SC have always been rivals."
He added: "I knew that when I leave Ismaily SC, I would be attacked, that's normal and that's football, and no matter how much I talk and justify, it won't change anything."
Abdallah El Said explained: "I felt at the time that my move to Al Ahly FC was overdue, and that competing for and achieving titles at Ismaily SC is very difficult. That's why I felt this step would help me reach the national team and win titles."
Abdallah El Said revealed the details of his transfer to Pyramids FC: "While I was at Al Ahli Jeddah, I received a call from advisor Turki Al Sheikh to join Pyramids FC, and I agreed. The next day, I was in Egypt for a match against Al Ahly FC, and I got to know the players while we were on the bus heading to the stadium. Before the briefing, Hossam Hassan told me he would play me as a defender in midfield, and then in the second half, I played as an attacking midfielder and scored the winning goal."
Speaking about his transfer to Zamalek SC, Abdallah El Said said: "My decision to move to Zamalek SC came because I am used to big clubs and their passion. I was playing at Pyramids FC and doing well, but I felt that something was missing."
Abdallah El Said revealed, "I was trying to go to Zamalek SC three years before I joined, but there were problems at Zamalek SC and the transfers were closed. I still had a contract with Pyramids FC, and Pyramids FC wanted money that Zamalek SC could not pay."
He concluded: "My transfer to Zamalek was a big risk, but I felt I wanted to take on this challenge and do something. The Zamalek fans love and support the player who comes and gives to their team, and they loved me even before I arrived, which was a motivation. Of course, there are many problems at Zamalek, and I won titles during a difficult time with them."
