Al-Ahli to wear new sky blue kit against Al-Wasl for the first time

The technical meeting for the match between Al-Ahli and Al-Wasl, scheduled for tomorrow Monday, has confirmed that the reigning AFC Champions League Elite champions will wear their sky blue kit, marking the first time this will happen in the match.

Al-Ahli have officially unveiled their new third kit today, Sunday, to be worn in the anticipated match against Al-Wasl at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai, as part of the second round of the Western Region in the 2026-2027 season.

In contrast, Al-Wasl will wear their traditional yellow kit during the match, benefiting from playing at home in front of their fans, as both teams aim for a positive result.

Al-Ahli enter the match with the ambition of regaining their balance in the tournament, having settled for a 1-1 draw against Pakhtakor in the opening round, despite having won the title in the last two editions.

The match marks the 28th encounter for Al-Ahli against Emirati clubs, having achieved 14 victories, 5 defeats, and 8 draws. The Saudi team hopes to enhance their historical dominance and come away with three points.
