Al Ahly FC reveals medical status of 4 players ahead of Al-Fateh clash

Al Ahly FC has revealed the medical status of four first-team players as they prepare to resume domestic competitions following the international break.

The medical examination of Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has revealed that he sustained a shoulder injury during the last training session, while the medical staff continues to assess his condition to determine the possibility of his participation.

Al Ahly FC have received a positive boost as Brazilian Roger Ibañez has successfully completed his treatment and started individual training on the pitch, paving the way for his return to group training in the near future.

Zakaria Hawsawi is continuing his treatment and rehabilitation program, in coordination between the medical staff at Al Ahly FC and their counterparts in the Saudi national team, after his injury against Iraq in the Gulf Cup 27.

Naif Masoud continues his rehabilitation program to recover from an ankle injury and is awaiting the green light to return to field training ahead of the match against Al-Fateh on Friday in the eighth round.
