Al-Ahli secured a comprehensive victory against Al-Fateh, winning four goals to nil, in the match that took place on Friday evening at the Maysan Stadium in Al-Ahsa, as part of the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League.

Marino Busic, the manager of Al-Ahli, expressed his happiness with the result and performance, explaining during the press conference that he learned before the match that his team had not won in Al-Ahsa for about five years, which made the victory even more significant for him.

Boussetich stated that his players delivered a wonderful and positive performance, noting that the international break allowed the coaching staff to work with the available players, despite the absence of several players due to their call-ups to their national teams. He emphasized that Al-Ahli has returned with a remarkable start.

Al-Ahli's coach stated that his team faced significant pressure before the break, having played nearly ten matches amid various difficulties. He expressed optimism about the team's return in this manner, despite not having a full squad, and emphasized the importance of a strong start after the resumption of competitions.

In contrast, Jamal Salami, the coach of Al-Fateh, expressed his deep sadness over the loss, confirming that the result is completely unacceptable and that his team was capable of avoiding several mistakes that led to conceding four goals, but they did not perform at the required level.

Salem Al-Salami explained that Al-Fateh had a chance during the first half that could have been exploited to equalize, but the team squandered it. He pointed out that the performance was not good across various lines and that the upcoming phase requires significant work to correct the course and overcome the effects of the defeat.

Saeed Ba'atiyah, Al-Ahli player, confirmed that his team benefited well from the break, explaining in statements to the "Thamaniyah" network that the victory represents a strong return, resulting from the hard work of the players and the technical and administrative staff and good preparation. He wished good luck to Al-Fateh in their upcoming matches.

Al-Ahli have moved up to 15 points in 5th place, while Al-Fateh remain on three points in 17th place, second from bottom.
