Demiral returns to Jeddah after completing duty with Türkiye national team

Turkey's Merih Demiral, defender for Al Ahly FC, has returned to Jeddah after completing his international duty with Türkiye during the international break, preparing to resume his participation with the team in domestic competitions.

Demiral is set to join Al Ahly FC's upcoming training sessions as they prepare to face Al Fateh on Saturday in the Saudi Pro League.

Turkey's national team played several matches in the UEFA Nations League during the international break, ending with losses against Italy twice, with scores of 3-1 and 4-1, Belgium 3-0, and France 1-0.

These results have caused Türkiye to finish last in their group, while Merih Demiral has started returning to Al Ahly FC in preparation for upcoming commitments after the end of his international duties.

Al Ahly FC are currently sixth in the Saudi Pro League standings with 12 points from their first 7 matches, and they hope to continue their positive results against Al Fateh.
