Matteo Darmian returns to action with Bologna

Italian Matteo Darmian, former player of Manchester United and Inter, is preparing to return to the pitch after being without a club since leaving Inter.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Matteo Darmian is expected to officially sign with Bologna today, Thursday, on a free transfer.

The 36-year-old defender will sign a one-season contract until June 2027, to be a replacement for the injured Emil Holm.

It is still unclear whether Matteo Darmian will be ready to participate against US Lecce in the next round, but he is expected to be included in Bologna's squad for the following match against his former team Inter.
